Daesung, a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang, shared a vlog about his visit to Ho Chi Minh City on his personal page on August 13. During this trip, he combined fan interactions with tourism. Daesung visited Ben Thanh Market, where he bought clothes and gifts for his mother, including four pairs of pants and several other items like glassware, fruits, dried mango, durian, and dried jackfruit.
