According to Ookla Speedtest statistics, the fixed Internet speed in Vietnam in July reached 146.79 Mbps for downloads and 127.56 Mbps for uploads, raising Vietnam's ranking from 37th (July 2024) to 32nd (August 2024).

This marks the fifth consecutive month that Vietnam's fixed broadband speed has increased in both results and rankings. Back in February, the recorded speed in Vietnam was 107 Mbps, and it has maintained a consistent upward trend since then.
Meanwhile, mobile broadband Internet also saw an improvement in both speed and ranking over the past four months. In July's measurement, mobile broadband achieved 55.41 Mbps for downloads and 20.58 Mbps for uploads, ranking 44th globally.
