The Ông Hoàng Mười Temple and his tomb are located in Xuân Am Village, Hưng Thịnh Commune, Hưng Nguyên District, about 3 km from the center of Vinh City. This site honors Ông Hoàng Mười - Thái úy Vĩ Quốc Công, a famous general of the Lê Dynasty originally from Nghệ An. About 100 meters east of the temple is the tomb of Đức ông, which is a unique feature found only at this temple in Nghệ An.

According to records, the temple was originally built in 1634 during the Later Lê period. Over time, the temple was destroyed, but it was rebuilt in 1995 and has since become a renowned cultural and spiritual center in Nghệ An Province.

Other notable spiritual tourism sites in Nghệ An include Quả Sơn Temple, Bạch Mã Temple, Chín Gian Temple, Cuông Temple, the tomb and temple of King Mai Hắc Đế, Cổ Am Pagoda, and Đại Tuệ Pagoda.
