April 30th marks the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country.  April 30th, 1975, was the day of complete liberation of the South and the reunification of Vietnam. This momentous event signified the great victory of the Vietnamese people after more than 20 years of arduous struggle against the US to save the nation, ending the division between North and South Vietnam.
