Quang Nam has 25 Enterprises Certified with Green Tourism - admin - 18-08-2024 Quang Nam has become the first province in the country to introduce and implement green tourism criteria, thanks to the support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Swiss Sustainable Tourism Development Project in Vietnam. To date, 25 businesses in the accommodation, sightseeing, and travel sectors have been recognized by the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee as meeting green tourism certification standards, with levels ranging from 2/3 to 3/3 of the Ngoc Linh ginseng leaves.   Despite many achievements, green tourism development in Quang Nam still faces several challenges, including meeting international green standards and the needs of the community. In the future, the province will focus on supporting businesses and communities in building green tourism models, especially in rural and mountainous areas, to expand tourism spaces in the western and southern regions.
