Vietnam National Team to Play in Tri-Nation Tournament with Thailand and Russia - admin - 11-08-2024 Under the guidance of Coach Kim Sang-sik, the Vietnam national team will host Thailand and Russia at My Dinh Stadium for a tri-nation friendly tournament in September.   The three teams will play a round-robin format. Vietnam is scheduled to face Russia on September 5 and Thailand on September 10. The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) is organizing this friendly tournament to help the national team prepare for the AFF Cup later this year.
