The exhibition "Colors of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage, Nature, and Traditional Handicrafts" is set to take place from November 22 to 26, 2024, in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has issued Decision No. 2088/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the exhibition. The event will be hosted by the Vietnam Center for Cultural and Artistic Exhibitions in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An Province and other relevant organizations.
The exhibition will feature several displays:
It will also introduce traditional handicrafts from industrial and craft villages across different regions, inspire creativity among artisans, and provide opportunities for artisans to promote tourism potentials and expand international economic integration.
Through these activities, the exhibition aims to raise awareness and responsibility among the community, especially the younger generation, in preserving and promoting the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and natural heritage, fostering patriotism and national pride in Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage that has been preserved and passed down through generations.

- Exhibition "The Attention of President Ho Chi Minh, Party Leaders, and State Leaders to National Cultural Heritage": This display will present images of President Ho Chi Minh visiting cultural and natural heritage sites, documents related to his directives on preserving and promoting cultural heritage, and visual records of Party and State leaders visiting tangible and intangible cultural heritage sites, historical relics, and natural heritage.
- Photo Exhibition "Historical-Cultural Relics and Scenic Spots in Vietnam": Showcasing UNESCO-recognized heritage (world cultural heritage, world natural heritage, mixed cultural and natural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, documentary heritage) along with national special relics, national tangible and intangible cultural heritage, famous scenic spots, and the unique cultural activities of Vietnamese ethnic communities across the country. It will also highlight natural heritage such as national parks, biosphere reserves, and scenic spots.
- Display of Cultural Heritage Characteristics of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups: Featuring images, documents, and artifacts representing the diverse cultural heritage of various ethnic groups across different regions of Vietnam.
- Exhibition "Poems of Uncle Ho on Lotus Calligraphy": Presenting a selection of President Ho Chi Minh's poems displayed in lotus calligraphy.
- Cultural Spaces:
- Vietnamese Tea Culture: Displaying and introducing tea products and cultural exchange from provinces like Dien Bien, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Ha Giang, and Lam Dong, including tea-making tools and practices.
- Light Sculpture Art: Featuring artistic displays of images such as Uncle Ho’s homeland, his quest for national salvation, his reading of the Declaration of Independence, the map of Vietnam, and the Vietnamese landscape.
- Vietnamese Ao Dai Exhibition: Showcasing collections of Ao Dai by various designers, celebrating the beauty of Vietnamese women and promoting Ao Dai as a cultural emblem in diplomacy and tourism.
- Vietnamese Tea Culture: Displaying and introducing tea products and cultural exchange from provinces like Dien Bien, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Ha Giang, and Lam Dong, including tea-making tools and practices.
- Regional Displays: Highlighting the cultural heritage, nature, and traditional handicrafts of 25 participating provinces and cities including Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho City, An Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, and Bac Lieu.
- Handicraft Products Exhibition: Featuring handmade products from the 2024 Vietnamese Handicraft Competition, showcasing award-winning items and promoting high-quality OCOP (One Commune One Product) products nationwide.
- Cultural Art Exchange Program: Including traditional folk art festivals like "Vietnam - The Colors of Heritage" and other cultural and artistic exchange activities.
