Teacher in Ao Dai with Turban and Wooden Sandals for Over 10 Years

"Let me introduce you to our lecturer at our university, which has the succinct name: University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

He is currently the head of the Department of Oriental Studies. In the picture, he is teaching Classical Chinese Phonology to students majoring in Han-Nom at the Faculty of Literature. Our university does not require lecturers to wear ao dai. He simply chooses to wear it because of personal preference and a desire to preserve traditional values.

The image of someone in full ao dai attire, wearing a turban and wooden sandals, has become quite familiar on our campus because he has dressed this way for many years, and he wears this outfit every day he teaches...!"
