The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or "Tết Trung Thu" in Vietnamese, is a traditional celebration that takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It is a time when families gather to celebrate the harvest, admire the full moon, and participate in various cultural activities. The festival is especially meaningful for children, who enjoy carrying colorful lanterns, eating mooncakes, and participating in fun games.
 

In Vietnam, Tết Trung Thu is often called the "Children's Festival," as it focuses on bringing joy to kids with parades, lion dances, and gift-giving. Mooncakes, symbolizing completeness and unity, are a key element of the celebration, and they are shared among family members and friends. Lantern processions in the evening add a magical atmosphere to the event, lighting up the night with vibrant colors.
